THAI GREEN ROUND EGGPLANT IS A GORGEOUS LOOKER IN THE GARDEN AND IS VERY PROLIFIC INDEED! A DELICATE, MILD FLAVOUR AND HIGHLY PRIZED IN EVERY ASIAN GARDEN!

This south-east Asian variety is very popular in Thai and Vietnamese cooking and is a common home garden vegetable. Producing round light green white variegated striped fruit about 5cm in diameter they may be eaten raw but often included in a variety of dishes particularly stir-fry.

An authentic favourite in Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, round green eggplant is often eaten raw. Of course, it’s also great in stir fires! The fruits exceed expectations. They certainly are round, but the green is marbled with white, making an attractive pattern.

The heavily bearing plants produce fruits that measure about 5cm in diameter, and they’re a favourite among those who love growing their own veggies.

Grow Notes
Plant in full sun in moist, well-draining soils.

Sow direct or raise seedlings in Spring, planting at 5mm depth and 60cm spacing with rows 80cm apart.

Keep soil moist but never wet.
