HENRY THE 8TH BLACK HOLLYHOCKS HAVE SUPERIOR HEIGHT AND LARGER FLOWERS THAN PAST BLACK HOLLYHOCKS AND ARE RUMOURED TO BE THE BLACKEST HOLLYHOCK FLOWERS EVER PRODUCED! A SUPURB CUT FLOWER FOR YOUR HOUSE AS WELL!

Hollyhocks bloom over a two year period then set seed in the second year. They are normally self supporting and are happy to allow vines to grow up their tall stalks, allowing for a very pretty picture in your vegetable or flower garden!

King Henry VIII produced a profusion of stunning almost black single flowers making it a wonderful addition to any flower bed. Outstanding longevity in the garden, plant on mass in beds and borders for a stunning colour display.

Known for his black heart, King Henry the 8th went through his life beheading those who opposed him and when the church refused his application for a divorce, he simply created a new church and killed his old wife! I would not want to be a noblewoman in his court! This gorgeous flower is named in his honour, mainly for his black soul!
