Great lakes is a heirloom iceberg type lettuce that produces large, crinkled leaves which form a dense head in the centre. This is a popular and easy to grow variety that is slow to bolt to seed.

Grow Notes
Prefers full or part sun in moist, well-draining soil.

Protect from slugs and snails.

Sow
Sow direct or raise seedlings in Spring, Summer and Autumn. Sow seed at 3mm depth and with 30cm plant spacing and 50cm row spacing.

Keep soil moist, not wet.
