What a spectacular display of golden-yellow colour! Easily grown from seed, this unique variety has dense clusters of golden-yellow button-like flowers. This is a very good garden performer and withstands all types of weather. The shrub is native to the southwestern Mediterranean region, but is widely adaptable when the ageratum seeds are planted in the right type of soil and conditions.

The flowers are excellent for cutting and have a long vase life. Ageratum flowers also dry nicely for year round colour in your house!

Lonas Inodora is also called Golden Ageratum – this unique variety can be easily grown from Ageratum seeds. Yellow Ageratum produces attractive, small, bright-yellow button-like flowers with wiry stems and blooms all summer long attracting butterflies to the garden.
This Ageratum is good for cutting gardens, mass planting and can be grown as a border or bedding plant. Ageratum is a superb, long lasting cut flower that is suitable for both fresh and dried floral arrangements!

Grow Notes
Lonas Inodora grows best in full sun and well-drained soil, but otherwise is not fussy on soil type.

Tropical: Late autumn to mid-spring
Temperate: Mid-winter to mid-summer
Cold: Spring

Plant during the above seasons for your climate. Sow on the surface of your soil and press gently, do not bury seed deeply as the seed requires light to germinate. Space 15cm apart.

Keep soil moist, not wet.
