This is an heirloom from Japan, producing huge white radishes that are milder than the regular radish. Radishes are super-fast growing. Radishes are great for pickling, shredding, use in salads and general cookery!

Raphanus sativus; HEIRLOOM. Satisfying giant white roots up to 24″ long by 3″ wide. Sweet, mild flavour and very crispy, with so many uses: good pickled, steamed, stir-fried or raw. Deep tap roots also help improve soil quality.

SEEDS ARE MEDIUM SIZED, EASY TO SEE AND HANDLE.

Grow Notes
Prefers full sun in well-draining soil.

Sow
Sow direct in Spring, early/late Summer, Autumn or late Winter. Planting seeds at a depth of 10mm with 5cm plant spacing and 30cm row spacing.

Keep soil moist, not wet.
