Also called German Thyme, this lovely herb produces dainty, flavourful leaves that are excellent used for cooking or for tea. Harvest as needed and cut back to about 3″ (1cm) two or three times per season to encourage thicker growth. Easily dried for long-term storage. Plant is perennial in regions with mild winters.

Uses

Culinary herb for gardens and containers. Commonly used for seasoning meats, fish, poultry, soups and vegetables. Outstanding for planting near walkways, decks and patios where the scent can be enjoyed.

Pretty and delicious too! Forms a neat plant that attracts beneficial insects to your garden! It looks nice in all seasons!

Grow Notes
Prefers full or part sun in moist, well-draining soil.

Sow
Raise seedlings by planting seeds in seed raising mix in Spring and Autumn. Plant seeds at a depth of 3mm with 30cm plant spacing.

Keep soil moist, not wet.
