Description
Yarrows come in a variety of different colours, and this one is hot pink. Achillea ‘Cerise Queen’ is a particularly colourful yarrow, bearing cerise pink flower heads with dark margins and paler colouring towards the centre. Their flat flower heads contrast wonderfully with their dark green, feathery foliage, and make the perfect landing pad for insects.

It’s perfect for growing in a wildlife garden and is also ideal for growing in gravel gardens. They’re particularly attractive to hoverflies, butterflies, bees including native bees and beneficial insects!

Grow Notes
For best results, grow Achillea ‘Cerise Queen’ in full sun in well-drained soil. Divide clumps every three to five years.

Sow
Sow on the surface of the soil, press down, do not cover. Space seedlings 30-60cm apart. Mix with fine grains of sand if needed to aid distribution of seeds.

For best results, grow in a compost rich, well-drained soil with a pH of 5.5 to 7.0. However, Yarrow is a tough plant, and it will adapt to pretty much any soil except waterlogged soils.

Germination
7-14 days

Maturity
Long lived and simply beautiful all year around! Cut plants to ground level in autumn to clean them up and rejuvenate them.
