This stunner is the source of “Oil of Geranium” and it’s a very fragrant and evergreen ground cover that is easy to grow and extremely hardy.

Grow Notes
Plant in full sun or any type of shade. Will grow in any, moderately fertile soil apart from waterlogged soils.

Sow
Sow seeds in good quality compost or seed raising mix at any time. Lightly cover with fine sand or compost to their own depth. Place in a propagator or cover with a plastic lid in a warm place.

Keep moist at all times, but do not saturate.

Pot on seedlings to harden off and mature before finally planting out in the garden.

Germination
14 to 90 days at 15-20°C. Geranium seeds can be slow to germinate so don’t throw out your seeds.

Maturity
2-5 years.
