Fill your garden with a stunning display of vibrant foliage and flowers! The Mexican Giant Hyssop produces tall, flowering stems adorned with large, eye-catching hot pink and orange floral spikes. With aromatic leaves that release a fragrance when crushed or touched, this hardy plant is drought-tolerant and fast-growing. It blooms from summer to autumn, attracting birds, bees, and butterflies with its nectar-rich flowers.

The leaves of this South American shrub have a sweet, minty flavour with a hint of aniseed. They can be used for tea infusions, to season food, or even eaten raw in salads. The Aztecs used their variety of hyssop as a fragrant ornamental and to treat open sores. To this day, an ointment made with giant hyssop as the main active ingredient remains popular in Mexico.
