Zinnias are one of the easiest annuals to grow and are suitable for bedding, borders, mass planting and containers. Popular cut flower for floral arrangements or vases.

Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils in a sunny position. Tolerant of average soils.

Grow notes:

Tropical: Winter to Late Summer.
Temperate: Spring & Early Summer.
Cool climate: Spring & Early Summer.

Sow: 6 mm deep
Sow direct in the growing position or in trays. If sowing in trays transplant when large enough to handle avoiding excessive root disturbance.
Plant in a well-drained soil in a sunny position.
Plant space: 30 cm
Germination: 14-21 days

Flowering: 12 Weeks

Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
