Very mild and sweet, the 10 to 12 inches long, very slender fruit is a beautiful light-lime green. One of the best-tasting eggplants; superb flavour and very tender. Good yields on just under a metre tall plants. This heirloom from Thailand is becoming popular with gourmet chefs.
A prolific producer of long, pale green eggplants that are perfect for Thai dishes. The mild tender flesh absorbs spicy flavours making this the perfect addition to curries. Its also a great one for frying
Thai eggplant is often used in vegetarian meals as a replacement for meat. In Thai cuisine, eggplant is commonly used in curries, noodle, veggie, and rice dishes. With a scant 40 calories a cup, eggplant makes for a low calorie veggie for those watching their weight. They are great grilled, stir fried, pickled or made into a relish combined with diced tomato, tahini and fresh parsley served over fish.

Grow Notes
Plant in full sun in moist, well-draining soils.

Sow direct or raise seedlings in Spring, planting at 5mm depth and 60cm spacing with rows 80cm apart.

Keep soil moist but never wet.
