Bright starry flowers on short stems come in all colours from pure white to deepest rich red from earliest spring until summer. These rockery or wall plants make slowly spreading, moss-like, evergreen cushions and are totally hardy and perennial. Great for rock gardens, gravel areas, alpine gardens, crevices and edging pathways.

SEEDS ARE VERY SMALL. MIX WITH FINE GRAINS OF SAND IF NEEDED TO AID DISTRIBUTION OF SEEDS.

Prefers full sun in well-draining soil.

Sow
Sow direct between Winter and the earliest Summer, they need some cool weather to help them germinate.  Put them in a pot or tray with well drained soil. Cover the seeds very thinly with light sand or vermiculite. Put them in the shade / partial shade. If the seeds do not germinate within 6 to 12 weeks then put them in the fridge on the normal shelf for about a month, then once out they may still take some weeks to germinate, don’t throw your pots out!

Keep soil moist, not wet.
