In amongst pavers they are perfect, the light foot traffic they have will release the luscious scent!

Just like other thyme varieties, creeping thyme is edible with a flavour and aroma very like mint when crushed or steeped for teas or tinctures. … Harvest creeping thyme in the morning when the essential oils of the plant are at their peak.

Grow Notes:

Directly sow creeping thyme outdoors after all danger of frost has passed – preferable on a day without rain and when rain is not forecast for a few days afterwards. Prepare a seed bed, loosening the soil and weeding it. Scatter seeds and press them firmly into the earth: do not cover. Water with a fine spray so you don’t dislodge the seeds.

Sprinkle seeds into rock crevices and between pavers, onto pots and anywhere you would like them to grow, press down if possible, covering is not needed and will reduce germination – they need sunlight to germinate. Water with a fine spray so you don’t dislodge the seeds.

SMALL SEEDS. MIX WITH FINE GRAINS OF SAND IF NEEDED TO AID DISTRIBUTION OF SEEDS.
