This medicinal herb is a garden essential and a classic culinary treasure. A strong aromatic herb, widely used in international cuisine and as a remedy for colds, flu and respiratory problems.

Summer Thyme is an evergreen perennial growing to 30cm. Narrow grey/green leaves can be picked as needed. Has a spicier more pungent flavour than other Thyme varieties and is the best tasting thyme. Great for flavouring almost anything including meat, fish, soups and stews.

Attracts bees and they love to browse amongst the thousands of flowers each plant offers them. Good for borders, rock gardens and pots. So versatile and truly a decorative plant that is also useful!

THE SEEDS ARE SMALL, MIX WITH FINE GRAINS OF SAND IF NEEDED TO AID DISTRIBUTION OF SEEDS.

Grow Notes
Prefers full or part sun in moist, well-draining soil.

Sow
Raise seedlings by planting seeds in seed raising mix in Spring and Summer. Plant seeds at a depth of 3mm with 30cm plant spacing.

Keep soil moist, not wet.
