TOMATO POTATO LEAF HEIRLOOM THE ORIGINAL AND BEST! SWEETEST AND BIGGEST FRUITS $2.30
Tomatoes and potatoes are related to each. As they are cousins, more or less, they share some of the same traits, including similar foliage. At the end of the day, potato leaf tomatoes can be chalked up to just one of nature’s curious quirks, a good one that allows for further varieties of tomato to be grown even if just for fun.
Good for growing in heavy soils and hot climates, add compost and don’t grow tomatoes in the same spot every year. These have been known since 1887, and are a good market and home variety.
All potato leaved varieties are heirloom or older varieties. We haven’t been able to find a hybrid that is potato leaved. Have some fun in your garden this season and try one (or more) of these unusual but delicious heirloom tomatoes!
PLEASE NOTE, TOMATOES SHOWN ARE AN INDICATION OF WHAT YOU MIGHT GET, THESE POTATO LEAVED TOMATOES WERE NOT PHOTOGRAPHED SO WE CAN ONLY GUESS, WE KNOW THEY ARE LARGE AND JUICY, GREAT FOR SALADS AND SANDWICHES.
