ZUCCHINI GOLDEN TREASURE – LARGE YELLOW ZUCCHINI’S WITH A SUPERB FLAVOUR – VERY LONG KEEPING!

Heirloom dating back to 1781. Yellow zucchini, bottle-shaped with curved neck & cream-coloured flesh. Heavy yields. Pick when young from 15cm.

Quick growing, popular vegetable. Likes organic matter added to well drained soil, though not heavily fertilized, add lime to obtain pH of 6.5.

Zucchini is an excellent plant for beginners. They are sturdy, easy to grow, require little maintenance and most of all: they give you so much food. If you look after your zucchini, it will keep producing for ages! They can even be grown on balconies if you have the space for a planter.

Grow Notes
Prefers full or part sun in moist, well-draining soil.

Sow
Sow direct in Spring or early Summer. Planting seeds at a depth of 20mm with 50cm plant spacing and 70cm row spacing.

Keep soil moist, not wet.
